"The world fascinates me because of the kaleidoscope of interesting people in it – I instinctively explore the behavioural psychology of both inter-personal and human-technological relationships as it is such a beautiful mystery to understand and it's successful outcome is knowing what you need."
Ursula Lane-Mullins is a visionary technologist and creative leader known for bridging human experience with emerging technology. She co-founded ACME Virtual – a pioneering mixed reality agency – where she led projects for global organisations including Disney, the World Wildlife Fund (WWF), and CBRE, creating immersive experiences for their audiences. Ursula also spearheaded innovative research into brain-computer interfaces, developing psychedelic virtual reality environments driven by real-time ECG brainwave signals. With a background in user experience design and storytelling, and over a decade of experience in design and immersive media innovation, she combines creative insight with technical expertise. She often invokes the concept of “hyperreality” — the seamless blending of physical and virtual worlds, and of human and artificial intelligence, to reveal new possibilities. Now, as a director at One Future, Ursula continues to champion the transformative potential of AI, VR, and other frontier technologies to help shape a brighter, more connected future for everyone, everywhere.
